These flowers I hold were not bestowed upon me by a lover or admirer

Nor were they procured for their vibrance or emanations.

These flowers I hold are truly of no significance.

You see, the truth is, I purchased them for myself

& Although I have no strong inclinations towards foliage,

I do wish that these flowers had been bestowed on me as a demonstration of admiration.

I wish these flowers to be a representation of my own vibrance and eminence.

In truth, I wish I hadn't purchased these flowers at all..

But these flowers I hold keep me existent.
